Limited Edition Print: 'Marionette'. There's only 50 prints in total. Each one is signed in silver pen on the bottom of the print and it's edition number is marked too.
This artwork is made using a drypoint print making process. I etch my artwork into a plastic plate which I then wipe over with ink. I wipe off the excess ink and run the plastic plate through a printing press which transfer the ink that remains in the grooves of the etch to a piece of artistic paper.
Marionette: The Moon thinks it controls the star, but it’s just an illusion. Hanging from a marionette string, the star stays bright while the moon keeps shifting through its phases, getting more jealous with each one. It acts like it's in charge, but deep down, it knows the star is brighter.
The back of the print has a postcard layout, so you can actually write a letter on the back and post it to your friend, or you could frame it to display in your home or even attach it to your pinboard or fridge. It's up to you!
